PWOC has a membership card with Barnes & Noble where we save 10% off all purchases.  During the monthly meetings the President or Vice President will survey to see who needs any books on the reading list and will make one purchase for the group using the discount card.  Please note that the discount can be used for books other than what is on our required reading list.

PWOC also has an account with Blackexpressions.  This is an internet based bookstore specializing in African American literature.  Their introductory offer is if you join now you get 5 books for $2.  During peak times when BE is offering specials such as buy one get one free or buy one get unlimited half priced, we will make one order as a group and the savings will be passed on to everyone purchasing.

Also, PWOC has an account with Amazon.com and this is a great site to order new & used books as a great price.

No one is required to purchase books through the above mentioned vendors but any member is welcome to use any discounts PWOC is entitled to.
