Overview

Malik and Sheila Batiste have been married for 13 years. They have it all (good jobs, beautiful home, handsome son), but they do have one major problem – their sex life is terrible. When it comes to sex, Malik is only concerned about pleasing himself. His lack of concern about Sheila’s sexual needs is starting to ruin their relationship. In an effort to spice up their sex life, the couple gives in to curiosity and decides to “swing” with their neighbors (Darnell and Stacy Muldrue). The Muldrue’s are seasoned “swingers” and introduce Malik and Sheila to the S.W.A.P. (Sex With Another Partner) Game.

Sheila’s “swinging” episode stirs up sexual desires that had been lying dormant within her. Malik’s “swinging” episode shines a spotlight on his lack of stamina and overall poor sexual performance - forcing him to sit back and watch his wife be pleasured (tremendously) by another man. Their decision to play the S.W.A.P. Game leads to marital problems and more drama than the couple ever bargained for.

The story is capped by a surprise ending that will leave readers starving for more.

Review

All members agreed that once again Brian W. Smith has done a great job of captivating his audience's attention.  Brian's writing style is descriptive without being too wordy.  He has a way of pulling you into the scene.  Everyone agreed that the plot was well put together.  There were many instances in the book where you were left with your mouth  literally open because you didn't see that coming.

The reader can tell that Malik and Sheila are headed for disaster based on their sexual encounters.  Malik is a "Waiting to Exhale" type lover - leaving his partner unsatisfied while thinking he has beat-it-up.  Sheila is extremely sexually frustrated and her neighbor Darnell is just the eye candy she needs to daydream about.

From the beginning you can tell that Darnell and Stacy are trouble.  For their first encounters the two were setting Sheila and Malik up for one interesting ride.

All the ladies believed that Malik really dropped the ball when he was always about his pleasure but never about Sheila being satisfied.  Even when Sheila would address the issue with Malik he would ignore her concerns.  This pretty much sealed the deal that Sheila was going to be interested in "swinging" with Darnell and Stacy.

Everyone found the swinging scene to be most entertaining. The way Stacy reacted to Malik's lack of stamina was hilarious.  Malik had fantasized about sex with her only to disappoint her.  Malik was a selfish lover and like many men who share his sexual personality, was in denial about his performance.  Also, the fact that Malik was literally sick over Darnell pleasing his wife was adding insult to injury.  He sat there witnessing his wife scream out with pleasure.  Sounds he had never heard from her.  All that he was experiencing was his fault.

No one was surprised when Sheila ended up in a threesome with Darnell and Stacy.  Everyone (with the exception of Nickie) was surprised to find out that Sheila's best friend Nikki knew Darnell and Stacy.  This was just any example of how Brian shocks his audience by throwing a serious curve ball in the 9th inning.  He knocked one out the park when it was revealed that Nikki was the shooter and not Malik.  WOW!  This book was a great read and just like, Nina's Got a Secret, it was a serious page-turner.  Brian W. Smith has done it yet again!
