Monthly Discussions:
Our discussions are held the 4th Saturday of each month at 3pm. Meetings are held at members' homes. We rotate every month allowing each member to host a meeting.
Our meetings usually last between 1 to 2 hours. The beginning 15 mins of each meeting is used to discuss any business and collect dues if necessary. Refreshments are served at each meeting. The hostess is responsible for the refreshments.
Because we are mothers, members' children are welcome at our discussions. We always set up a separate area for the children to entertain themselves allowing us to discuss the current reading without distractions.
Prior to each meeting every member will receive a copy of the questions to be answered via email. This gives everyone an opportunity to reflect on the book and be sure they are prepared to discuss the parts of the book that are most important to them.
After each meeting the group assigns a rating to the book read and a collective review and rating is posted on our website.
